Paula Madigan is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with over 25 years of clinical experience, including a background in Acute and Emergency Medicine and advanced practice, alongside almost a decade working within medical aesthetics. Paula has undertaken specialist training in ultrasound for aesthetic medicine and incorporates ultrasound into both routine aesthetic practice and the assessment and management of complications. Her approach is grounded in a detailed understanding of facial anatomy, vascular safety and evidence-based clinical decision-making. She believes ultrasound should complement, rather than replace, strong anatomical knowledge and clinical assessment. Where appropriate, it is used to identify relevant anatomy, assess existing filler, support safer treatment planning and guide the management of complications.
